BRATISLAVA INDUSTRY DAYS

Bratislava Industry Days (BID) is the professional platform of the International Film Festival Febiofest Bratislava. It’s aim is to showcase Slovak cinema in front of the international audience and to strengthen cooperation between Slovak and international film professionals.
Works in Progress, the main event of BID, is a public presentation of upcoming Slovak films. This year, the international decisionmakers as well as Slovak audience can get to know 10 projects in various stages of development/production – a mixture of fiction, documentary, and animated films, both features and shorts.
Public programme include a discussion with Peter Badač, newly-appointed director of the Slovak Audiovisual Fund, and Master Classes by Ivo Trajkov, Lucia Kajanková, and Jim Stark.
Bratislava Industry Days is organized by the IFF Febiofest Bratislava and the Slovak Film Institute and is financially supported by the Slovak Audiovisual Fund. BID’s partners are Midpoint Institute, Character – Film Development Association, Cineuropa, Pop Up Film Residency, Slovak Audiovisual Producers' Association, Slovak National Gallery, and Creative Europe Desk Slovakia.
