Richard Müller patrí už 25 rokov k najvýraznejším osobnostiam našej hudobnej scény. Film Mira Rema zobrazuje nielen lesk reflektorov, prácu bulváru či okázalé vystúpenia, ale najmä tvrdú drinu, ktorá sa skrýva za úspechmi speváka. Nekonečné cestovanie, úsmevy pri rozhovoroch, izolácia, stres a únava – aj to je cena, ktorú musí Müller platiť za to, že môže robiť prácu, ktorú ma rád. Snímka zachytáva jeho turné s vokálnou skupinou Fragile v rokoch 2013 až 2016 (i jeho prípravu) a vďaka súkromným archívnym záberom sa vracia aj do minulosti. Vytvára tak intímny rez do života tejto legendy a pomáha divákovi pochopiť jednotlivosti v kontexte celého Müllerovho života. Revolučnosť 90. rokov prudko kontrastuje s dnešnou mentálnou únavou spoločnosti. Film je tak zároveň obrazom toho, ako sme sa za posledné desaťročia zmenili my, jeho publikum.
For the past 25 years, Richard Müller has been one of the boldest personalities of the Slovak music scene. Miro Remo’s film depicts not only the glow of the spotlight, the tabloids and the ostentatious performances, but also the hard work that is behind the singer’s success. Endless traveling, smiling for the interviews, isolation, stress and exhaustion – those are all a price Müller has to pay for doing the work he enjoys. This film captures his tour with the vocal group Fragile. Thanks to the singer’s personal archive footage, the film transports the audience into the past, thus crafting an intimate overview of the life of this legend and helping the viewers understand the particularities in the context of Müller’s life as a whole. The revolutionary character of the 90s is put in stark contrast with the mental exhaustion of the society of today. That being so, the film is also a depiction of how we, his audience, have evolved over the last decades.
