Film nakrútený podľa predlohy Marcela Sacotta Où en est la prostitution (Kde je dnes prostitúcia). Nana je krásna dvadsaťročná Parížanka, ktorá opustí svojho manžela aj malého synčeka, aby sa mohla stať herečkou. S málo peniazmi, ktoré si ako predavačka zarobí, sa však nemôže pustiť do uskutočňovania svojho sna, a preto sa rozhodne získať peniaze prostitúciou. Čoskoro sa jej ujme pasák Raoul a naučí ju všetky triky, bez ktorých sa v tomto biznise nezaobíde. Po čase sa Nana zamiluje do mladého umelca a pokúsi sa s prostitúciou skoncovať. Raoul však nehodlá pustiť jednu zo svojich najlukratívnejších komodít z ruky... Film získal v roku svojho vzniku Pasinettiho cenu a Zvláštnu cenu poroty na MFF v Benátkach.
A film based on the novel by Marcel Sacotte Où en est la prostitution (Where is prostitution today). Nana is a beautiful 20-year-old Parisian who leaves her husband and her baby son to pursue the career of an actress. However, she is unable to work on achieving her dream with the little money she is earning as a shop assistant, so she decides to gain money through prostitution. Soon the pimp Raoul takes her under his wing, teaching her all the tricks of the trade. After some time, Nana falls in love with a young artist and tries to quit prostitution. However, Raoul is not willing to let one of his most lucrative commodities just walk away... The film won the Pasinetti Award and the Special Jury Prize at the Venice International Film Festival in the year of its release.
